Mac studio fix fluid foundation review india. I was on the lookout for the perfect shade of foundation, and having tried all available brands like Lakme, Revlon, L’Oreal, Maybelline, etc (I do love these brands for other products!), I was still not satisfied with the shade. What it is: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation SPF 15 is a modern foundation with a natural matte finish and broad spectrum protection. I opted for studio fix fluid because the MAC girl said it was a little more friendly for drier skin. Strangely enough, I learned I can go either way for MAC foundations, so I ended up getting NW13 since I was a little worried that my usual NC15 was going to be slightly too dark in that particular foundation. MAC's Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 Foundation is a modern foundation that combines a natural matte finish and medium to full buildable coverage with broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 15/PA++ protection. MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (NC30) £21.50
After reading many rave reviews of this MAC foundation and seeing how beautiful it looks on the skin, I decided to finally place an order and see if Studio Fix Fluid is worth the hype. My first impression was very positive and I was close to calling it my new Holy Grail, but... unfortunately something horrible happened.
I applied the foundation with real techniques buffing brush and I was very pleased with the finish and coverage. The formula features 'micronized pigments' and soft focus powders, giving a super smooth, matte finish. You can easily build up the coverage from medium to full and the lasting power is incredible! It is perfect for oily and combination skin, as it absorbs excess sebum and keeps your skin shine free all day, but... there is one thing I just can't deal with when it comes to this fabulous product.
It broke me out terribly! After the first use, I removed it with a cleansing balm and double cleansed as usual. I immediately noticed that my skin looked a bit angry and red and felt itchy. I used a soothing anti redness serum to ease the discomfort and I thought I was fine. The next day I woke up to my full face covered with tiny little bumps (especially on my forehead and chin) and 8-10 big angry breakouts in total. I can't even describe how upset I was. I had to give my skin a week off from makeup to let it breathe and recover, but for the sake of my review, I gave the foundation another go and unfortunately the same happened again :(

I also ordered a MAC Pro Longwear concealer recently and surprise, surprise... it broke me out too, even under my eyes! I can honestly say, that I won't be buying any MAC bases ever again. They also smell like paint, which is very odd and the ingredient list is a bit scary.
For reference- the shade of Studio Fix Fluid I got is NC30 and it was slightly too dark for me. It is perfect when I am tanned, but a tone too dark for my natural skintone.
Let me know, if you had any problems with MAC bases or this foundation in particular?
As you can see, I even ordered a pump for the foundation, because I didn't expect it to break me out - it simply never happened to me before. I would recommend buying a pump, if you ever decide to try Studio Fix Fluid. It makes the application much easier.
Overall, I love the way Studio Fix Fluid looks on my skin and I think it is a great foundation, but I won't be able to use it again, because it breaks me out terribly. If you want to try it, I would advise you to give it a go at a MAC counter first to see, if you react to it badly. If you are one of those lucky ladies who can get away with using it - I am very jealous :) haha PS. This experience doesn't change my love for MAC eye shadows and Mineralize Skin Finishes :)

Mac Studio Fix Fluid For Indian Skin
Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC 46 is described as “deep bronzed with neutral undertone for dark skin (neutral-cool)” shade. The shade is a great match for my skin tone as its perfectly dark warm without being orange.
The foundation is formulated to be ” oil-controlling formula that offers a matte finish with medium to full coverage”. And it does have a build-able coverage that still manages to look natural without a cakey finish. Although it contains SPF there is no flashback that I observed and can be worn for special occasions where you might be photographed with flash.
I have normal skin type and found that this foundation lasts well for more than 8 hours on me without any issues. Although, if you do have any dry skin or any patches, it tends to exaggerate them slightly. So make sure you prep your skin well before applying the foundation. I have applied it using a brush, sponge, and fingers and found that it works well with either of them. And it provides good coverage with just one layer of foundation. Although not necessary, I have found that setting it after application helps lock it in and prolongs the wear time.

If you’re finding it difficult to find a higher coverage foundation that matches your skin tone, then definitely visit your closest MAC counter! The MAC studio fix foundation would be perfect as long as you don’t have dry skin.
